Overview
Nationwide Police Services LLC ("NPS," "we," "us," or "our") operates NPS Portal, a workforce management application provided to our employees, supervisors, administrators, and clients. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use NPS Portal.
NPS Portal is an internal enterprise application — not available to the general public. Access is granted exclusively by Nationwide Police Services LLC administrators.
Information We Collect
Location Information
NPS Portal collects precise GPS location data for the following operational purposes:
- Geofenced clock-in and clock-out for timekeeping accuracy
- Real-time patrol tracking and route verification
- Site check-in confirmation at protected locations
- Supervisor oversight of field officer positions during active duty
Location data is collected only while you are actively using the app for these functions. We do not collect background location data outside of active patrol or check-in sessions unless you have explicitly enabled that feature for your role.
Account & Profile Information
When your account is created by an NPS administrator, we collect and store:
- Full name, employee ID, and job title
- Email address and phone number
- Role and access level (officer, supervisor, admin, client)
- State licensing and certification information
- Emergency contact information where provided
Operational Data
In the course of normal app use, we collect timesheet records, patrol session data, incident reports, training completion records, schedule assignments, and in-app communications.
Device & Technical Information
We automatically collect limited technical data including device type, OS version, app version, IP address, app usage logs, and push notification tokens to maintain performance and security.
How We Use Your Information
We use information collected solely for legitimate operational and employment purposes:
- Providing and maintaining NPS Portal functionality
- Processing payroll and timekeeping records
- Verifying officer presence and compliance at assigned sites
- Generating incident documentation and reports
- Administering training programs and certifications
- Communicating operational updates, schedules, and alerts
- Providing clients with coverage and incident visibility for their sites
- Complying with legal and regulatory requirements
- Investigating workplace incidents or policy violations
Security & Data Retention
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure cloud storage, role-based access controls, and authentication requirements.
Employee records and operational data are retained for a minimum of three years in accordance with applicable employment and security industry regulations. Payroll records are retained for seven years. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting your NPS administrator, subject to legal retention requirements.
Your Rights & Choices
As an NPS Portal user, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements
- Opt out of non-essential push notifications through iOS device settings
- Review and adjust location permissions at any time in iOS Settings

Additional Terms
Children's Privacy
NPS Portal is an employment application intended for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has been granted access in error, contact us immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of NPS Portal after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email.
Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Maryland.
